TeslaMeow — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TeslaMeow ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App connects directly to your self-hosted TeslaMate/Grafana instance and does not route data through any third-party servers.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics: We do not use any analytics or tracking SDKs
• No server-side storage: We do not operate any backend servers that receive your data
• No third-party sharing: Your data is never shared with third parties

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Your TeslaMate/Grafana server URL
• Your Grafana API access token
• Cached vehicle data (trips, charging records, parking records, vehicle profiles)
• Subscription status (managed by Apple's StoreKit)

This data remains on your device and is protected by iOS's built-in security features including device encryption.

4. Network Communications

The App communicates only with:

• Your TeslaMate/Grafana server: To retrieve vehicle data using your provided API token
• Apple's App Store servers: To verify subscription status via StoreKit

All communications use HTTPS encryption.

5. Vehicle Data

Vehicle data (location, trips, battery status, etc.) is fetched from your self-hosted TeslaMate instance. This data:

• Is transmitted directly between your device and your server
• Is cached locally on your device for offline access
• Is never sent to or stored on our servers
• Can be deleted at any time using the "Clear All Data" function in the App

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

8. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can:

• Delete all cached data within the App
• Delete the App to remove all associated data
• Revoke your Grafana API token at any time
